About Mundus Humanus

Mundus Humanus is an independent publication providing a simple yet thoughtful framework for cultivating a humanistic mindset, that values adaptability, empathy, critical thinking, and practical wisdom

Established in 2024, Mundus Humanus was inspired by the works of historian Yuval Noah Harari and astronomer Carl Sagan, as well as the growing need for accessible, secular guidance on leading a meaningful life rooted in fairness, compassion, and the shared human experience - in an increasingly interconnected world, where technology and information reshape the challenges of human existence.

The ten principles of Mundus Humanus are derived from a study of human nature, history, and philosophy. These principles distill the core traits of humanity that have always been essential to human survival and progress, and they remain just as crucial in today's rapidly evolving world.

Our mission is to empower as many people as possible with the knowledge and choice to lead a decent, meaningful, and authentically human life.

Mundus Humanus operates as a private, non-profit organization. Our work is made possible through revenue from book sales, proceeds from our shop, and contributions from supporters. Donations help sustain our mission, ensuring we can continue providing accessible resources and guidance to those seeking a humanistic approach to life.
